Yesterday at Marazion Community Centre we were treated to a beautifully paced full-day workshop with Jane Harris - composer, choir-leader, and Director of Songways, Bath.
Jane taught 4 of her recent compositions written during her wave of creativity in lockdown and - as so often in her compositions - inspired by the natural world. These included Time to be here, Draw Close to the Heart of the World and her stunning Alleluia Amen. We enjoyed learning and singing the subtle harmonies and the beautiful interlocking parts including the much appreciated juicy lines for tenors and basses!
