Above - Levow an Bys at the Tate Winter Festival ... we love singing at this friendly community event in the heart of Winter (toasty warm inside while it always seems to be blowing up a storm outside!).

- 8th July 2023: singers from Levow an Bys & the Dawn Chorus sang at the Growing Links / Street Food Project summer fete ... leading a relaxed sing song, eating some delicious homegrown, home-cooked food in the sunshine - A joyous day out ...
- Friday 30th June 2023: our annual 'For the Joy of Singing'. Over 60 singers from Levow an Bys & the Dawn Chorus shared the songs we've enjoyed learning this season with a packed audience at St Pol de Leon church, Paul. The programme included beautiful harmony songs from around the world to closer to home, from the sublime (Jane Harris' 'Alleluia Amen') to the rollicking (A 5-part version of 'Hal-an-tow' including thigh slapping from singers and audience alike. We were delighted to include Lea Morris' 'Lifting as we Climb' which was composed as part of the 'Black Lives Matter Commissioning Project' which the retiring collections from last year's concert helped to fund. This year the choir's part of the collection went towards St Petroc's on-gonig work to end homelessness in Cornwall, and getting 'Teamwork' - the storybook by Sue Edwards to support young children undergoing cancer treatment - printed and distributed to childrens' wards and hospitals. Many thanks to everyone for a super evening.
- 7th May 2023: singers from Levow an Bys & the Dawn Chorus sang on the bandstand in Morrab Gardens as part of the 'Big Lunch' Coronation Celebration Event hosted by Penzance Council. A gorgeous, free, sunny community event, with picnicking aplenty, lovely music, cream teas and beautiful surroundings. Bravo one and all!
